Variable or adjustable frequency drive (VFD) is a device used in electronic and electrical appliances that adjusts the speed and torque of the motor. Variable or adjustable frequency drive provides a simple method for controlling the motor speed. Electric motor systems are responsible for majority of the power consumption in industries.
